Together with its partner - Eurotechlab company - COTES Engineering presented professional orientation workshop devoted to the modern technologies of environment emissions monitoring for the students of the Faculty of Power Engineering of the Novosibirsk State Technical University. Today, CEO of Eurotechlab Company (Saint Petersburg) Vladimir Shevchenko addressed to the four-year degree students, as well as to the 1st and 2nd year master degree students of "Thermal Power Plants" and "Health, Safety, Environment" disciplines of the Faculty of Power Engineering.

Mr. Shevchenko presented brief introduction into current laws and regulations concerning environment friendly production, and stated existing trends in development of relevant codes and standards. The report on modern technologies of environment emissions monitoring focused on automated systems for monitoring of atmospheric pollutant and greenhouse gas emissions from the Fuel & Energy Complex facilities.

Mr. Shevchenko told about state-of-the-art developments by Eurotechlab Company in this area, and gave examples of completed projects explaining their complexities and peculiarities of resolution of non-typical situations for future professionals as regards installation and operation of monitoring systems.

After the workshop, several stand-out students were invited to pass on-the-job training in summer of 2017 at COTES Engineering company under superintendence of Eurotechlab company and to take part in forthcoming projects on design of the off-gas monitoring systems, as well as automatic water chemistry monitoring systems within a production facility in Siberia.
